Bailey Basics-Welcome

My name is Krista Bailey. Wife, mom, entrepreneur, and founder of Bailey Basics. I spent twelve years professionally baking—six as a pastry chef and six running my own bakery. In 2018, I traded early-morning ovens for early-morning kids, and my kitchen became my creative playground again. When my husband gifted me a grain mill and mixer in 2023, I fell in love with baking all over again. Now I mill my own grains, develop from-scratch recipes, and share practical, pastry-chef-tested techniques to help you bake confidently with fresh milled flour—without sacrificing flavor, texture, or joy.
