Honey Butter Biscuits

Everyone loves a good bisuit. Achieving that flaky, fluffy texture can often be a challenge. These biscuits are simple, the recipe forgiving and flavor unmatched. If you’re still adjusting to the flavor and texture of Fresh Milled Flour, this recipe is as close to conventional white flour as I’ve found.

This recipe uses Greek Yogurt (or Sour Cream) which helps hydrate the flour and add a creaminess to the texture.

I also sift my dry ingredients just to aerate the flour. I still add the Bran and germ back into the recipe, but this quick step will help your biscuits rise.

Also, COLD butter is the key. I pop my stick in the freezer while I gather my ingredients and mill my flour. I also let my flour cool off after milling, as it can be warm.

Greek Yogurt Flatbread

If you have started researching bread recipes using Fresh Milled Flour, you’re probably noticing a whole new list of termonolgy. Autlyse, windowpane, proof, knead, not to mention the long list of grain varieties!

Take a breath…you can do this recipe! It uses baking powder and baking soda like a quick bread. It only has 6 ingredients including water.

This bread is perfect for sandwiches, pizzas, brusing with olive oil, garlic and herbs, or just dipping.

It is versatile, takes less than 1 hour and actually freezes well for those busy weeks when making bread isn’t in the cards.

Did I mention, they have 12g of protein? Give them a try, you won’t regret it!

Cottage Cheese Bagels and Hamburger Buns

When I say you cannot screw these up, I truly mean it!

4 ingredients and an Air Fryer is all you need to have a quick breakfast bagel or a high protein hamburger bun!

You can use almost any Hard Wheat for these recipes as well as blends of grains.

With Hard White wheat, they come in at around 17 grams of protein! Made into an egg sandwich or hamburger and you can rack of the protein while still eating bread. And, it doesnt contain any of the mystery ingredients of store bought baked goods.
